Jason Shulman- Founding Partner
Jason Shulman is a founding Partner of the Shulman Zale Legal Group and has been a practicing attorney in the State of Illinois for nearly 16 years. Jason is a highly accomplished legal professional with a strong track record of obtaining favorable results for his clients. Jason’s current practice focuses primarily on real estate law and general civil litigation. Before forming the Shulman Zale Legal Group, Jason represented large and small financial institutions in the fields of creditor’s rights litigation, real estate law, mortgage foreclosure law, and collection law.

Jason graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his B.A. in 2001 and subsequently attended the John Marshall Law School, where he received his J.D. in 2004. Jason is licensed to practice law before all Illinois State Courts and before the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Jason strives to provide high quality, personalized representation to each of his clients by utilizing a hands-on approach. With every case and matter that he handles, Jason ensures that his client’s rights are fully protected and that their interests always come first.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and watching all of his favorite Chicago sports teams. He also is a collector of fine bourbons and sports memorabilia.
Scott Zale- Founding Partner
Scott Zale is a founding Partner of Shulman Zale Legal Group and handles a variety of legal matters, including but not limited to Real Estate Law and Estate Planning.  Before forming the Shulman Zale Legal Group, Scott practiced in the fields of creditor’s rights litigation, real estate, and bankruptcy law. There, he gained invaluable knowledge and experience representing both individual and corporate clients in real estate, creditor’s rights, and bankruptcy law.

Scott is licensed to practice in Illinois State Court and the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois Federal Court. Scott has helped clients with a variety of real estate related matters, most commonly including residential real estate closings.  Scott can also help prepare and recommend an individualized estate plan for you.  Some of the documents Scott might recommend and draft for you include trusts, wills and Power of Attorney. In his spare time, Scott, a resident of Will County, enjoys spending time with his three young children and wife.  

Scott is also an active member and Board Member of the Heritage Corridor Business Alliance, a non-profit organization committed to assisting local businesses grow.  Scott and the firm are also members of the Mokena Chamber of Commerce and Frankfort Chamber of Commerce.  Scott also enjoys spending time on the lake fishing or playing at local golf courses. He enjoys watching all Chicago sports teams but is a die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs and his beloved Fighting Illini football and basketball teams.
